Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist-Outpatient at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This part-time role (0.5 FTE, ~20 hrs/week) performs specimen collection, labeling, and pre-analytical processing and enters patient orders in the lab system.
Hours are Monday–Friday with alternating weekends and holidays, shifts start between 7:00–8:00am or 3:30–4:30pm. Required: High School diploma or equivalent, completion of a phlebotomy program with 100 clinical hours, current CPR (BLS), and a valid
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy training program with a minimum of 100 clinical hours.
- Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, collect, log and label specimens for testing under supervision.
- Perform pre-analytical processing and ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
- Register patient information and orders in the computer system.
- Arrange specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.
