Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Phlebotomist - Outpatient to join our laboratory team. This full-time role involves collecting, labeling and logging specimens and performing pre-analytical processing under supervision.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, a phlebotomy program with 100 hours of clinical training, CPR (BLS), and a valid Illinois driver’s license. Experience is preferred; shifts include early mornings and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program with at least 100 clinical training hours.
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance.
• Minimum of one year phlebotomy experience (for II level).

Responsibilities

• Prepares, collects, logs and labels specimens for testing under supervision as per policies.
• Performs pre-analytical processing and ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
• Registers patient information and orders tests in the computer system.
• Arranges specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.
