Intermountain Health is launching a new outpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.

We are seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations, assist pharmacists, and help establish workflows and patient care experiences for a growing program. You will partner with pharmacists and other technicians to prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and support patients throughout their care journey.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
• Lapse or failure to meet requirements may result in disciplinary action or termination at hiring manager’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Use pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders and perform calculations.
• Ensure supervision and accuracy checks by the pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain medication supplies and monitor controlled substance inventories as required.
