Intermountain Health is launching an outpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician. You will help establish workflows, coordinate medication access, and support patients throughout their care journey.

This is a hands-on role with pharmacists and technicians in a growing program. The position emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and collaboration in a retail-like environment with a strong focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepares medication orders for dispensing and performs necessary calculations.
• Follows supervision rules and ensures accuracy in tasks verified by a pharmacist.
• Maintains medication supplies and manages controlled substance inventories.
• Communicates with caregivers and participates in quality and safety initiatives.
