Job summary

Thompson Health in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a per diem pharmacy assistant to support medication prep and clerical duties on Saturdays, with scheduling 9am to 5pm preferred.

Under supervision of licensed pharmacists, you will use Word & Excel, assist in IV aseptic preparation, and help maintain patient‑focused care in a supportive health system.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates skill in daily communication including effectively gathering and disseminating information.
• Demonstrates flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments.
• Demonstrates skill on proactively resolving problems, recommending, and implementing continuous quality improvements.
• Demonstrates knowledge in aseptic techniques for the preparation of IV solutions.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of the Hospital’s Information System (Pharmacy and B/AR), as well as the ability to work in Microsoft’s Word and Excel.
• Provides customer service and support in a manner consistent with the health system’s goals and expectations

Pay Range: $19.48 -$24.00, based on experience.
