Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unit-dose medications, deliver medications, and order supplies.
• Read prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing, including pediatric/geriatric forms.
• Maintain knowledge of standard pharmaceutical terms and abbreviations.
• Communicate with patients or caregivers to coordinate delivery or pickup.
• Accurately prepare and deliver controlled substances and maintain records.
• Inventory management and keeping drug storage areas orderly.
• Label products and perform dosage calculations as required.
