Job summary

Intermountain Health's St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado is launching a new outpatient pharmacy.

We seek an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician who wants more than a job—someone excited to help build workflows and patient care experiences from day one. You’ll partner with pharmacists and technicians to prepare prescriptions, coordinate medication access, and support patients through every step.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmacy workflows, medication safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to assist pharmacists with accurate and compliant dispensing.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in collecting patient information and maintaining records.
• Prepare medication orders, perform calculations, and assist in compounding as needed.
• Ensure controlled substance inventories are accurate and secure.
• Support communication with caregivers and participate in safety initiatives.
