Job summary

Saint Alphonsus is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at MedNow Ambulatory Pharmacy in Nampa, ID. The role involves assisting pharmacists with preparation, distribution, and record keeping to deliver medications to patients of all ages, following department policies and procedures.

Full-time day shift. Must be a licensed Technician with Idaho State Board of Pharmacy; national certification preferred with under 2 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy
• National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) preferred with under 2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
• Assists the Pharmacist in providing effective drug dispensing services to all patients served by the MedNow pharmacy.
• Assists the Pharmacist in training Pharmacy Technician Trainees in the day-to-day duties of Pharmacy Technicians as assigned by the Director.
• Excellent mathematical skills required for the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for routine interaction with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
