Job summary

Saint Alphonsus in Nampa, ID is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician for the MedNow Ambulatory Pharmacy. You will assist Pharmacists in preparation, distribution, and record keeping of medications for patients of all ages.

Role includes training Pharmacy Technician Trainees, accurate drug dispensing, and strict adherence to department policies. Excellent math and communication skills are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
• National Certification (CPhT, ExCPT or equivalent) preferred with under 2 years’ experience.

• Assists the Pharmacist in providing effective drug dispensing services to all patients served by the MedNow pharmacy.

• Excellent mathematical skills required for the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for routine interaction with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.

SUMMARY

The Pharmacy Technician assists Pharmacists in pharmaceutical preparation, distribution and the record keeping functions in the delivery of pharmaceutical supplies to patients of all ages in accordance with department policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy
