Job summary

ChristianaCare Health Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor to provide operational leadership and serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for assigned locations.

You will oversee daily operations, patient experience, quality and safety, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, develop staffing plans, and drive quality improvement, workflow redesign, and technology implementations in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required.
• PharmD degree preferred.
• Current pharmacist licensure in Delaware or ability to obtain it within a timeframe.
• Licensure in NJ/PA/MD may be required based on operations.
• Certified Pharmacist Immunizer required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum of three years of outpatient/healthcare pharmacy management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for outpatient pharmacy services.
• Serve as PIC for assigned location and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee dispensing operations with focus on safety and quality.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary pharmacy team.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance.
• Develop staffing plans and optimize labor utilization.
• Monitor performance metrics and financial objectives.
• Lead quality improvement and workflow optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary partners.
• Support pharmacy information systems and automation implementations.
• Participate in committees and organizational initiatives.
