Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced leader to direct ambulatory oncology and infusion pharmacy operations, overseeing staffing, scheduling, medication preparation, dispensing, and workflow optimization to improve patient throughput and care quality.

The role leads Investigational Drug Services for oncology and clinical trials, partnering with nursing, clinical research, and pharmacy leadership to support protocol activation, regulatory compliance, and enterprise quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency (required or equivalent experience).
PGY2 residency in Oncology Pharmacy or related leadership preferred.
Board certification in oncology pharmacy (BCOP) preferred.
Delaware pharmacist license or eligibility prior to start date."
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Direct operational performance of ambulatory oncology and infusion pharmacy services including staffing and workflow optimization.
Lead Investigational Drug Services for oncology and clinical trials, including protocol review, storage, dispensing, accountability and trial activation.
Partner with oncology providers and leadership to promote evidence-based medication use and standardization of care.
Develop and monitor financial and quality metrics; manage budgets and resource utilization.
Ensure regulatory compliance and lead medication-use safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Recruit, mentor, and develop leaders across Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Staff, and Research teams.
