Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a senior leader to direct and align system-wide pharmacy operations. The role focuses on maximizing prescription capture, developing market strategies, and launching new access points in coordination with clinic leadership.

The candidate will collaborate with the leadership team to drive business initiatives, improve service delivery, and promote centralized mail order options across Baptist pharmacies.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years progressive, outcome-oriented management experience in a medium multi-specialty group practice.
• Three (3) years of pharmacy management experience in practice management, or pharmacy operations and medical staff relations.
• Extensive knowledge of health care issues, trends, legal compliance and group practice and/or pharmacy management/network development models.
• Ability to foster collaborative partnerships in the development, implementation and administration of service and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Leads all BMG pharmacy teams.
• Operationalizes strategic direction across all markets to ensure prescription capture rate at BMG and Baptist pharmacies, including site identification, stakeholder communication, speed-to-market facilitation, and staffing for new locations.
• Develops, recommends, and implements pharmacy operational changes to align capture rate and financial goals; communicates with clinics for reliable service and patient care.
• Works closely with marketing on promotional strategies for the pharmacies.
• Implements pharmacy management strategies or services to identify business opportunities, enhance physician partnerships, expand/retain market position, and maximize service delivery with the practice management team.
• Performs other accountabilities as assigned or directed.
