Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking a Director of Outpatient Pharmacy to lead operations across outpatient infusion clinics, specialty pharmacy, and retail locations. This role drives patient-centered care, financial performance, and strategic growth aligned with Sacred Work.

Responsibilities include overseeing outpatient services, 340B program management, and collaboration with clinicians, finance, and leadership to ensure excellence in ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited College of Pharmacy and 1-3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees outpatient infusion clinics, specialty pharmacy, and retail locations; manages personnel and workflows.
• Directs 340B Drug Pricing Program operations, compliance, audits, and contract pharmacy relationships.
• Monitors revenue, reimbursement trends, operating margins, and key financial indicators across outpatient services; identifies growth opportunities.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state standards and accrediting bodies; leads quality improvement and readiness for inspections.
• Identifies and implements new outpatient services and partnerships; collaborates with clinicians and leadership to expand ambulatory care.
• Assists the Administrative Director of Pharmacy with strategic planning and assumes duties in their absence.

Education

PharmD degree (accredited College of Pharmacy)

Texas State Board of Pharmacy license
