Qualifications

• Graduate from NABP accredited pharmacy college.
• Current US pharmacist license in the state of work.
• Experience in outpatient pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service following AIDET and review medications for appropriateness against guidelines.
• Perform final professional review and verification of prescriptions and offsite orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate prescription filling with pharmacist checks.
• Provide accurate drug information to patients and staff.
• Supervise and mentor Interns and Technicians per ICARE values.
• Maintain inventory and manage orders with cost control in mind.
• Follow sound accounting principles and help meet department budgets.
• Collaborate with other departments (Hospice, Social Services, Meds to Beds, etc.).
