Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacist to dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure safety and accuracy under supervision of a registered healthcare practitioner.

You will supervise interns and technicians, provide drug information, manage inventory, and collaborate with hospital departments. Requires NABP-accredited pharmacy degree and active US pharmacist license; competitive benefits and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

Graduate from NABP accredited pharmacy college.
Current US pharmacist license in the state of work.

Responsibilities

Provide top notch customer service following AIDET and review medications for appropriateness.
Perform final professional review and verification of prescription filling and offsite orders.
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of filling with pharmacist final check.
Offer drug information to patients, medical staff, and nursing staff.
Supervise and mentor Interns and Technicians per ICARE values and ensure tasks are completed.
Maintain inventory and manage order processing from wholesalers.
Support department budgeting and financial goals.
