Job summary

St. Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Clinical Staff Pharmacist for the outpatient pharmacy in Edgewood, Kentucky. You will counsel patients, review prescriptions for safety and accuracy, and provide drug information to medical staff and patients.

You will supervise interns and technicians, maintain inventory, and collaborate across departments to support specialty pharmacy services. A NABP-accredited degree and an active US pharmacist license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NABP accredited pharmacy college.
• Current US pharmacist license in state where work is being performed.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Multitasking and multitask management in a fast paced outpatient setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with knowledge of current practice standards (ASHP).

Responsibilities

• Provide top notch customer service and counseling to patients following clinical guidelines.
• Review and monitor patient medications for safety and appropriateness.
• Provide drug information to patients and staff; educate on OTC products.
• Supervise and mentor interns and technicians; ensure timely task completion.
• Maintain inventory and manage order placement with appropriate wholesalers; adhere to budget goals.
