Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is launching a new outpatient pharmacy and seeks an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to support daily operations and shape workflows for patient care.

The pharmacist will partner with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to ensure safe, seamless and patient-centered care while driving improvements and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and license to practice in state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for safety and appropriateness; optimize therapy.
• Oversee medication preparation and timely delivery to care areas.
• Provide counseling and educate patients on medications and adherence.
• Supervise interns and technicians and provide clinical guidance to staff.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational and patient-care issues to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
