Come join Arbor Therapy's multidisciplinary team as a Physical Therapist!

Arbor Therapy is a leading provider of multidisciplinary therapeutic services across the lifespan in the East and West Valley of Phoenix, Arizona. We are currently seeking a part-time PT for our Glendale clinic location. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, allowing you to work as many or as few hours as you wish, on a schedule that works for you.

Role Overview:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat physical conditions, illnesses, and injuries to reduce pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address areas of need using evidenced-based approaches and individualized therapeutic strategies
  • Closely monitor and document progress, adjusting intervention as necessary to support optimal outcomes
  • Engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing education and resources to support the client's progress and development
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals, including speech-language and physical therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
  • Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner
  • Provide high-quality mentorship and supervision of students and assistants, as needed

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Active physical therapy license via the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience or interest in early intervention and treating developmental disabilities
  • Passion for continuous learning and development of professional skills and knowledge
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Bilingualism is a plus!

Working Conditions:

This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and/or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
