Allegheny Health Network is seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to join the Pain Management team at Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, PA. The role focuses on evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing follow-up care in both outpatient and procedural settings.

The ideal candidate will work with an experienced Pain Management physician and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for acute and chronic pain conditions,

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program
• National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through an accredited association
• Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner

Aufgaben

• Provides patient care including recording medical history and physical examination, developing a therapeutic care plan, ordering tests, interpreting results, discharge planning and documenting in medical records.
• Collaborates with supervising physician on plan of care and makes diagnoses within scope of practice.
• Orders and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic studies to determine treatment plans.
• Educates patients and families based on age and culture, and provides health and disease prevention information.
• Ensures accurate EMR documentation to support coding and billing and reports to the attending physician as needed.
• Maintains continuing education and participates in safety, quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives.

Ausbildung
