Qualifications

• Must hold MSN or PA degree with appropriate licensure/certification.
• Current licenses for NP or PA, and ongoing recertification where applicable.
• Ability to obtain DEA licensure and fulfill HIPAA/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty and critical care to patients in outpatient oncology/hematology.
• Collaborate with physician and manage patient care independently in non-acute settings.
• Record comprehensive medical histories, perform physical exams, and develop care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; participate in discharge planning and documentation.
• Educate patients and families; ensure accurate EMR documentation for coding.
• Participate in continuing education, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Handle on-call and weekend coverage as required.

MSN (Nurse Practitioner)

National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners

Nurse Practitioner license

Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies

PA-C / PA license

NCCPA certification

CPR (American Heart Association)
