Job summary

Allegheny Health Network (Jefferson Hospital Neurosurgery) seeks a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy neurosurgery team. You will evaluate and manage patients across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings, working with neurosurgeons, APPs, nurses, and staff to deliver patient-centered care.

Expect involvement in call rotations, quick clinical decision-making, and collaboration across locations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies; PA-C license or board eligibility.
• NCCPA certification and ongoing recertification as PA-C.
• Active PA license and prescriptive authority in practicing state.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and communicate with attending physician.
• Provide emergency stabilization and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Assist in surgical procedures and interventional radiology under supervision.
• Participate in call rotations and maintain accurate medical records.
