Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy or be eligible for certification.
• Must possess Nebraska licensure for Occupational Therapy (license to practice in Nebraska).
• CPR for Health Care Provider/CPR for Professional Rescuer required at time of hire or soon after.
• Background checks are conducted as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Deliver quality patient care from admission through discharge including education and outcomes assessment.
• Document thoroughly including daily charting, plan of care, and insurance authorizations.
• Design and construct devices or adaptations to improve patient living/work environments.
• Maintain safety and quality in service delivery and uphold department and facility values.
