Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Type: Nonexempt, Part time

Schedule: Outpatient, Monday – Friday variable start times 0700‑1800, no holidays; Med/Surg inpatient weekend opportunities.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence across acute hospital, acute rehabilitation, inpatient, medical‑surgical, and outpatient environments. This role delivers therapeutic interventions that support the performance of daily living activities, promote safety, and maximize patient participation in meaningful routines. The OT collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team, educates patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use, and ensures timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards. The therapist maintains a safe treatment environment, demonstrates strong communication and clinical reasoning skills, and performs other duties as assigned to support high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
