Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the Oncology/Infusion department. This on-site, dayshift role is full-time (80 hours per pay period) with a pay range of $57.50 to $80.50 per hour, depending on experience.

You will ensure medications are prescribed and dispensed according to best practices, provide drug information to patients, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, dosage, side effects, and instructions.
• Stay current with updated formularies, new therapies, treatment protocols and emerging research through ongoing education.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses and other professionals to coordinate care for optimal outcomes.
