Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the MHC Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy. This onsite, full-time role offers hourly pay between $59.80 and $83.72, contingent on experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and state Pharmacist licensure are required; PGY1 residency and oncology infusion experience are preferred. Duties include dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
• Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes.
