Job summary

United Future in Mattoon, Illinois seeks a board-certified/board-eligible outpatient neurologist to join a dedicated clinic within the main hospital building. Role emphasizes outpatient care with no required hospital call and optional inpatient exposure.

You will join a small clinic team and provide comprehensive neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans while maintaining high-quality EMR documentation. EEG/EMG options available.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution
• Neurology residency completed
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Active Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility
• Valid DEA registration

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a clinic team including two physicians and one APP.
• Manage outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call obligations.
• Opportunity to read EEGs and/or perform EMG reads if desired.
• Optional inpatient coverage opportunities for acute care exposure.
• Maintain thorough and timely electronic medical records.
