Food Management Search, Inc. seeks an outpatient Neurologist to join a premier regional facility in Mattoon, Illinois. The role emphasizes outpatient clinic work within the hospital setting, with a supportive team environment and no mandatory hospital calls.

The ideal candidate is BC/BE in Neurology, holds an MD or DO, and has an Illinois license or eligibility. Inpatient exposure is optional, with comprehensive EMR documentation and a collaborative practice culture.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Neurology Residency program.
• BC/BE in Neurology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligible).
• Valid DEA registration.
• Strong collaborative, team-based communication style.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with a clinic team currently two physicians and one APP.
• Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call, limited to reviewing critical labs as needed.
• Option to read EEGs and/or conduct EMG reads if desired.
• Opportunity for optional inpatient coverage if interested in acute care exposure.
• Maintain thorough, accurate EMRs for all encounters.
