Job summary

Your Talent Team is recruiting a Board Certified/Eligible Neurologist for outpatient duties in Mattoon, IL. This full-time employed position focuses on outpatient clinic work within the main hospital building, with an established support team and no traditional hospital call burdens.

You will perform comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, participate in a stable clinic schedule, and have optional EEG/EMG reads or inpatient exposure if desired; robust EMR documentation and patient

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school
• Completed Neurology Residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Active Illinois medical license or immediate eligibility
• Valid DEA registration
• Strong team-based collaboration in a clinic model

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses and treatment plans
• Collaborate with a two-physician + APP clinic team
• No mandatory hospital call; review critical patient labs as needed
• Option to read EEGs and/or conduct EMG reads if desired
• Optional inpatient coverage opportunities if interested
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for all encounters
