Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Neurologist – Outpatient for Mattoon, Illinois. This full-time Employed position focuses on outpatient clinic work within the hospital setting, with no mandatory hospital call burden and optional inpatient exposure.

You will evaluate and manage diverse outpatient neurology patients, collaborate with a small clinic team, and have the option to read EEGs or perform EMG reads according to your interests. A robust compensation package awaits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed accredited Neurology Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligible).
• Valid DEA registration.
• Collaborative, team-based clinic communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the clinic team of two physicians and one APP.
• Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital calls.
• Option to read EEGs and/or perform EMG reads if desired.
• Inpatient coverage available as an elective interest.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records for all encounters.
