Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a General Neurologist to join our Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. The role includes outpatient care with a staffed neurophysiology lab and inpatient coverage supporting neurology needs across the system.

We offer a collaborative, teaching-focused environment with opportunities for academic appointments and research, within a large integrated health system serving Northeastern Ohio.

Qualifications

• Neurology board certification eligibility.
• Ohio medical license required or license eligibility to practice in Ohio.
• Willingness to participate in teaching and resident sessions.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology practice with a fully staffed neurophysiology lab.
• Inpatient coverage includes neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring unit.
• Mentorship and teaching opportunities with residents and fellows.
• Research and innovation opportunities within Summa Health Neurosciences Institute.
