Job summary

Summa Health seeks a General Neurologist to join the Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. This employed role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive compensation, and a strong benefits package.

The outpatient practice includes a staffed neurophysiology lab; inpatient coverage spans neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring. Teaching and research opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Neurology Board Certification Eligibility.
• Current unrestricted license in Ohio or ability to obtain.
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology services in an active clinic.
• Inpatient coverage includes neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and EEG monitoring.
• Support and oversee neurophysiology lab operations.
• Engage in research and teaching opportunities as available.
