Summa Health Medical Group is seeking a General Neurologist to join our growing Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH. The position offers an emnployed role with a broad set of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, access to an in-house neurophysiology lab, and potential academic appointment.

The role supports teaching, research, and collaboration with a large referral network, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• Neurology board certification eligibility
• Current unrestricted license or ability to obtain license to practice medicine in Ohio
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology service with a fully staffed neurophysiology lab
• Inpatient coverage including neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke and epilepsy monitoring unit
• Research, innovation and teaching opportunities available
• Epic EMR system used across the department
