Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group seeks a General Neurologist to join the Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with an ambulatory practice and a fully staffed neurophysiology lab, plus inpatient coverage to support outpatient needs.

The position includes potential for an Academic Appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University, with opportunities in research, teaching, and collaboration with extensive in-house labs

Qualifications

• Neurology Board Certification Eligibility
• Unrestricted medical license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain one
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions
• Commitment to quality patient-centered, team-based care

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology practice with a fully staffed neurophysiology lab
• Inpatient coverage including neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring unit
• Opportunities for research, innovation and teaching with residents
• Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University available to qualified applicants
• Collaborate with Summa Health Medical Group's extensive in-house lab and radiology services
