Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a General Neurologist to join our Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH. The role includes outpatient care with access to an in-house neurophysiology lab, plus inpatient coverage across neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring units.

Teaching responsibilities and a potential academic appointment are available.

Qualifications

• Board certification in neurology or eligibility
• Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one
• Willingness to teach residents and present lectures
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology services in a growing program
• Inpatient coverage including neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke and epilepsy monitoring unit support
• Collaborate with neurophysiology lab and in-house imaging/radiology services
• Engage in research, innovation and teaching opportunities
• Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University available to qualified applicants
