Summa Health in Akron is seeking a General Neurologist to join the Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute. This employed role features a Monday–Friday schedule, a fully staffed neurophysiology lab, and a referral-rich environment.

The position offers opportunities for teaching, research, and collaboration across a large integrated health system, with inpatient support including neuro-hospitalist and stroke teams.

Qualifications

• Neurology board certification eligibility.
• Willingness to teach residents and participate in lectures.
• Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology clinic duties with associated neurophysiology lab.
• Inpatient coverage including neuro-hospitalist and stroke care.
• Engage in research, teaching, and continuous care coordination.
