Summa Health is seeking a General Neurologist to join the Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. The position offers outpatient focus with inpatient support, research and teaching opportunities, and an academic appointment at NE Ohio Medical University.

Employed role with competitive compensation, signing bonus and relocation assistance, Monday-Friday schedule, access to extensive in-house lab and imaging, and a large referral base.

Qualifications

• Neurology Board Certification Eligibility
• A current unrestricted license or the ability to obtain a license to practice medicine in Ohio
• Willingness to participate in teaching, lectures, resident sessions
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Outpatient neurology practice with a fully staffed neurophysiology lab
• Inpatient coverage includes neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring unit
• Collaborate with extensive laboratory and radiology services in-house
• Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University available to qualified applicants
