Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Oregon is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse (CAP 1) to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate nursing care under supervision as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team.

Responsibilities include assessing patients during dialysis, documenting data, educating patients and families, and collaborating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and technicians. A current RN license and CPR/BLS certification are required; travel to training sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with <2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform dialysis treatment planning and patient care under supervision.
• Assess, document patient data and adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and care.
• Lead and delegate tasks to care staff as assigned.
