Qualifications

• CAHEA-accredited radiology program or equivalent
• ARRT certification
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• MRI Technician certification within 90 days of hire
• Previous MRI experience

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI exams and procedures as requested by the medical staff.
• Assists Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
• Performs ancillary duties to maintain distribution, billing, and archival of exams.
• Completes documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieves prior images and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of MRI exams.

Education

CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent

ARRT

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

MRI Technician certification within 90 days of hire
