The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Community Physicians is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support a patient-centered approach across the rural health network. You will assist in examinations, record vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms under physician direction.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited medical assisting program, with certification options from AMT/AAMA/NHA/NAHP and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA program completion preferred.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with 1 year patient care preferred.
• Certification options: AMT/AAMA/NHA/NAHP pending; BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients and measure vital signs; input data into medical records.
