Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Certification as CCMA, CMA, NHA or NAHP is required or preferred.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in the medical record.
• Prepares examination rooms and assissts physicians during visits.
