Greater Family Health in Hanover Park, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant (P57) to provide patient care, follow clinical processes, and support providers in a clinic setting. You will escort patients, prepare exam rooms, perform CLIA-waived tests, and assist with injections and medications.

Requires a high school diploma or GED; Medical Assistant program preferred; minimum six months experience; knowledge of anatomy and lab procedures; English/Spanish translation ability preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED; Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum six months related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of anatomy and laboratory procedures in outpatient settings.
• Ability to translate English to Spanish; and Spanish to English preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for examination.
• Perform CLIA waived testing, quality controls, and specimen collection.
• Complete clinical tasks to promote efficient workflow.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Safely prepare and administer injections and medications.
• Report to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and prepared.
• Engage in training and follow Corporate Compliance directives.

Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred

Current BLS Certification

Current Medical Assistant Certificate preferred
