Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum six months related experience or training preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and basic physiology.
• Knowledge of laboratory and outpatient procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows PCMH policies and procedures.
• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare for exam.
• Performs CLIA waived testing, quality controls, and specimen collection.
• Safely prepares and administers injections and medications.
• Follows and implements Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Report to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared to engage in all job responsibilities; location of work sites and shifts will change at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Engage in all offered training, consultations and supervisions; follow Corporate Compliance Program and respond to directives and feedback.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
