Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Minimum six months related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and limited physiology/disease process.
• Laboratory and outpatient procedures knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Follows PCMH policies and procedures.
• Escorts patients to examination rooms and prepares for examination.
• Performs CLIA waived testing and quality controls.
• Completes clinical tasks to promote efficient workflow.
• Administers injections and medications safely.
• Reports to multiple work sites and shifts as required.
• Engage in training, supervision and corporate compliance programs.
