Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide patient care, assist providers, and support nursing staff across clinic sites.

You will perform CLIA-waived tests, prepare patients, administer injections, and maintain infection control and safety standards. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, MA program completion, and flexibility for varied shifts; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum six months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and outpatient laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to examination rooms and prepares patients for examination.
• Performs CLIA waived testing, quality controls, and specimen collection.
• Safely prepares and administers injections and medications.
• Follow Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Report to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared.
• Engage in trainings and comply with Corporate Compliance Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
