Job summary

Tenet South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Med Surg Supervisor in Rock Hill, SC. The role oversees daily nursing operations, staff performance, and patient care quality within the Med Surg unit.

Responsibilities include staff education, PI monitoring, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while maintaining efficient unit operations. Requires leadership experience in acute care settings and current SC nursing licensure.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License required; if license is from another compact state, obtain Multi-State license within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
• CPI certification with orientation period.
• Other certifications determined by unit within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous safe operation of the department with patient care, staffing, and fiscal oversight.
• Promote a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Lead and evaluate unit performance with PI monitors and reports.
• Delegate shift duties, manage charts, logs, and supply levels as needed.
• Support nursing staff development and education on an ongoing basis.
