Job summary

York Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in York, PA, part of Acadia Healthcare's network, seeks a Substance Use Counselor for MAT-based outpatient care. The role supports recovery from opioid use disorder through individual and group counseling, documentation, and care coordination.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with medical staff. Eligible sites offer growth and professional supervision in a bustling MAT environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree in social or health services with clinical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in social or health services with clinical experience.
• Master's degree in social or health services with practicum.
• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality individual and group counseling.
• Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient recovery.
• Co-facilitate group or family sessions as needed.
• Complete timely and clear documentation of care and incidents.
• Prepare individual treatment plans for assigned patients.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments.
• Evaluate needs and refer to other programs when needed.
• Plan for aftercare where appropriate.
• Provide crisis intervention when required.
• Perform case management to ensure quality care.
• Liaise between referral sources and patients as needed.
