Job summary

Pottstown Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, is seeking a Substance Use Counselor for our Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program in Pottstown, PA. You will provide high‑quality individual and group counseling and document care.

Requires an associate degree in social or health services with 2 years of clinical experience, or a bachelor’s with 1 year, or a master’s with practicum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in social/health services with practicum or equivalent
• Clinical experience in a health or human service setting
• MAT familiarity and addiction recovery experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in individual and group counseling sessions.
• Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient recovery.
• Co-facilitate group or family sessions as needed.
• Ensure timely, clear documentation of patient care and incidents.
• Prepare individual treatment plans and conduct assessments.
