Belmont Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Portland, Oregon, part of Acadia Healthcare, seeks a Substance Use Counselor for an outpatient MAT program addressing opioid use disorder. CADC certification and clinical experience are required, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.

The role involves individual and group counseling, documentation, and recovery planning, with opportunities for professional growth in a leading provider of MAT services.

Formación

• HS graduate or equivalent required.
• PreferBachelor's or Master’s degree in social or health services field.
• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
• Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with MAT (methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone).
• Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions.
• Knowledge of CBT, MI, and relapse prevention techniques.
• Documentation experience with clinical notes and progress updates.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in individual and group sessions.
• Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient recovery.
• Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
• Ensure all documentation regarding patient care is timely and concise.
• Prepare individual treatment plans for each patient.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments.
• Evaluate patient needs and referrals to other programs.
• May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Perform case management and liaison with referral sources.
