Job summary

AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab in Orlando, FL seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to join a clinical team providing comprehensive patient care. You will evaluate and treat patients, document procedures, and engage in community outreach to promote the program.

Minimum pay rate mentioned is $31.86–$59.27 per hour with a scheduled 8am-5pm format and Wednesday/Friday 8am-5pm shifts; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred and BLS/PT licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred).
• Licensure as Physical Therapist (PT) or PT-TEMP (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges accurately following standards and policies.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and practices to build referrals.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Supports community outreach and public education of clinical services.
• Adjusts to patient census and hours to support other centers as needed.

Job Description:

• Schedule: Wednesday Friday 8am - 5pm
• Location: Advent Health Sports Med and Rehab, W 265 East Rollins Street Orlando, FL
• The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.
• Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and procedures.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
• Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director
