Job summary

Atrium Health's Behavioral Health outpatient team in Charlotte is seeking a part-time LPN to provide patient-centered care in a busy clinic. You will perform clinical duties, assist with exams, administer medications, and coordinate follow-up care under supervision.

Must have an accredited Practical Nursing program completion, an active LPN license, and BLS certification. This role offers varied day shifts and patient interaction across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vital signs and update medical information.
• Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory testing.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Administer medications, immunizations, injections, and IV therapy as allowed.
• Educate patients and coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and prescriptions.
• Document patient information and communicate with care team.
